A wonderful place with beautiful views and a spectacular Victorian design throughout the resort. The rooms were very well maintained and room cleaning was done every day. For all of its elegance the resort still felt very much like a place for families. Only one restaurant, Gasparilla's Grill was affordable for a family on a budget, but the menu was varied enough to not get boring after 6 days. The view of Cinderella's Castle and nightly fireworks was a special treat!

They say Disney spoils you and it’s so true! We visited to celebrate my daughter’s 6 bday princess style and it was indeed Princess style! The rooms were perfect, location was great and we could see fireworks from our room! The resort's monorail station made it easy to get to the Magic Kingdom, and the boat transportation to the park was a lovely alternative. The resort's pool area was beautifully landscaped and relaxing, with a fun waterslide and a nearby children's play area. If you're looking for a luxurious and magical Disney vacation, the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is the perfect choice. With its stunning views, exceptional service, and luxurious amenities, it's truly a Disney resort fit for royalty.

Me and my mom started December 17-21. It was our first time staying at this BEAUTIFUL hotel! The ambience is very classy and has a romantic charm to it. We also enjoyed the spa. Definitely recommend to adults. The food was also so delicious at the Cafe.

BEWARE! Our room absolutely reeked like cat or dog pee. Apparently the hotel allows “service” animals in the hotel, and our room smelled so bad like animal pee. Management asked if we would like to switch rooms at 10:30pm or have the housekeeping come and clean again. We have 2 toddlers and an infant all sleeping, 2 being in a pack n play, so that was not feasible. We booked a connecting rooms with our family so the kids could be together. There was also a dirty towel upon arrival, and hair in the sink and a wad of hair in the toilet. For $800 min/night, you should expect a CLEAN room at minimum, not a nasty room that smelled like animal pee with hair all over. Management gave us every excuse possible, and told us they wouldn’t give us any compensation back, until we ended up getting a $300 credit, so $500 still to sleep pee smelling room, that is not acceptable or a reasonable offer to me. I wasted the entire evening trying to get this issue resolved and the Management wouldn’t help. I spoke to 5 different people on the phone trying to explain to them what was going on. You shouldn’t have to do that on vacation, especially at a 5 star Resort. The hotel food was very mediocre, every restaurant is fully booked from 4-9 every night so good luck getting in for meals. Not many food options or variety. Save your money and stay somewhere where you won’t be treated poorly if problems occur. Our Kids love Disney, so its very disappointing that we were treated like this. 100% NOT worth the price at the Disney’s Grand Floridian.

It was a wonderful stay. The rooms are spacious, and the accommodations are well maintained. It was a little bit difficult to find the building names as they are not numbered however, there are several maps posted throughout the area. The rooms are nicely, renovated to be a newer blue theme for Mary Poppins. If you keep detail of the tile work, then you will see that the renovations were not comprehensive because there is old tile still on the floors before the elevators and etc. I don’t wanna sound too picky, but I have stayed in many different resorts with my children as we come to Disney every other weekend and I love the accommodations and the guest services, but I wish the hotel was a little bit more well-maintained. If you pay attention to the details, you will notice several areas need to be updated as well as upkeep. But overall, it’s a wonderful and beautiful hotel, and the people who work there are very friendly.
